Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement covers all sites run by DuckDriver Ltd.

Any information you provide us is kept in strict confidence. We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose personally identifiable information with any other parties.

In a situation where information is collected, you will be told what is being collected and for what purpose we are using it.

Cookies

Cookies may be used anywhere on the site to facilitate the processing of user input such as ordering new or upgraded services, and to facilitate user authentication for secure areas. The only information stored is your IP address. No other information is collected.

Bulletin boards and forums

Registration to our bulletin boards and forums requires a user to provide some basic information including a working email address. Again, this information will not be passed on to any other parties. However, email addresses are stored by DuckDriver Ltd. in case we need to contact or ban a particular board user. Cookies are only used on the bulletin boards and forums to provide users with a better experience. The cookie informs a user which posts are new since their last visit.

Site mailing list

Users opt-in for mail-outs by providing a valid email address. DuckDriver Ltd. will only use these addresses for mailing users information about new content. We will not pass on the addresses to any third parties. Users can easily take themselves off the list with a simple email request, provided through a link at the bottom of each email.

Surveys

From time to time, DuckDriver Ltd. may run online surveys to find out how our users feel about various topics. User may be asked to provide some basic demographic information as well as answers to a series of questions. Sometimes we may incentivise surveys and will ask for an email address so we can contact winners. None of this personal information is ever matched to a user's answers. Furthermore, we will never pass on specific answers from users to third parties. Aggregated data may sometimes be passed on in the form of a press release.

Log data

Our server collects certain information about the way people use our website. The date and time in which our site was accessed and the internet address of the web site which you clicked through from is recorded. On a purely aggregated basis, we collect information on which of our pages are looked at, and how often. This information is collected so we can make the site better, and more friendly. None of the information is matched to particular users or individual IP addresses.

Emails

Emails from site users are sometimes kept so we can contact the emailer later.
